Jean Paul Gaultier designs black champagne bottle
Gourmet
Piper-Heidsieck Champagne House and Jean Paul Gaultier are collaborating again. This time Gaultier designed a black bottle in tribute to the Cancan.
For this edition of the Piper-Heidsieck Brut Millesime 2000 Jean Paul Gaultier coated the bottle with black satin latex. The bottle is covered with a fishnet of black Swarovski crystals and on the back it is closed with a black metallic lace. The whole piece is reminiscent of the corsets of the 19th century Parisian Cancan dancers.
You will get two crystal glasses from Schott Zwiesel delivered with the Piper-Heidsieck Brut Millesime 2000 bottle. The whole is packed in a suitcase of black lacquer with red lining. The ‘Black Cancan’ gift box is available in a limited edition and costs $ 499.
Jean Paul Gaultier was born on 24 April 1952 in Arcueil, Val-de-Marne in France. He is a French haute couture fashion designer. Gaultier was the creative director of Hermès from 2003 until 2010.
